ES: Hoy les regalo mi arreglo original de la canción Venezuela, una versión instrumental en la que trabajé durante el 2016 pero decido sacar oficialmente en este momento. Mi trayecto me ha llevado por caminos en los que la política en general no es un campo al que esté arraigado ni con el que me identifique, sin embargo, lo que me interesa es la verdad en cualquier ámbito de la vida y la verdad desde mi experiencia es que Venezuela es un hermoso país en el que nací y crecí, donde viví y experimenté parte de su esplendor, paisajes y belleza, pero como contraste, también vi como empezó a cambiar a nivel social por temas complejos que van más allá de mi entendimiento pero que poco a poco crearon separación entre hermanos de una misma tierra y planeta del que todos formamos parte más allá de las diferencias en creencias, nacionalidades, religiones, etc. No es mi intención adentrarme en estos temas si no más bien honrar la belleza de ese país y toda su naturaleza así que hoy dedico esta canción a esa hermosa tierra que espero podamos ver renacer y prosperar como una nación soberana en paz y armonía 🇻🇪🙏

My journey has taken me to certain paths in which politics in general, isn’t a topic I’m personally attached to or identified with. However, what I’m interested in is truth in any aspect of life and the truth from my lived experience is that Venezuela is a wonderful country in which I was born and raised. I experienced part of its beauty, landscape and splendour but in contrast, also many changes at a social level due to complex matters that go beyond my own understanding but that slowly started creating separation between brothers and sisters of the same land and Earth where we all belong to, regardless of our differences in beliefs, nationalities, religions, etc. It’s not my intention to go into these topics but rather honor the beauty of that country and its nature, so today I dedicate this song to that beautiful land, hoping we will see Venezuela be reborn and prosper as a sovereign nation with harmony and peace 🇻🇪🙏

Here’s a live version of my song ‘Mind Prison’, which I composed back in 2018 and still haven’t released officially but I never rush about these things. It will come out soon enough though. This time my brother Zar Acoustic is accompanying me and doing his thing too, which adds a lot of energy and different colours to the song!
This whole quarantine situation has made tune into the power of music like never before. It took a while getting used to the new routine and all the changes but it’s also made me understand in a deeper level why I do music and why I want to share it. Beyond playing a bunch of notes or entertaining an audience my true calling has always been that in which people go into an inner experience through these sounds, in the same way that it happens to me. I call this experience ‘channeling sounds’ and it’s a state in which I feel that in a way I disappear and all that’s left is just life itself expressing through me, it’s not just me playing but something beyond words and concepts that takes place and I can only become one with it. The state that I’m describing happens for me mainly through improvisation and this is what I’ve been sharing during my livestreams, most of the loops and everything else is completely improvised in the moment and that is my way to tune into this higher consciousness that connects us all.
This video is a demonstration of what I’m doing during my livestreams, taking place every Thursday on Instagram (link below) at 10pm (UK/Irish time). I will possibly start doing them in other platforms too but for now Instagram is the one I’ve chosen to do so.
