This is my own arrangement of ‘I Am’ by the beautiful soul Fia who has been a big part of my journey even if we have never spoken. When I first listened to her music I couldn’t believe how much it felt like ‘home’ to me. The sounds, melodies and words resonated so deeply that to this day since the first time I discovered her (early 2020) I still listen to her almost everyday!

She’s coming to Dublin to play a gig (sold out) this coming Thursday 16th and I’m super excited to be there and get to be part of this experience that I’m sure will be one to remember. I wanted to offer something to show my gratitude and appreciation for Fia and what she’s been doing, creating such positive impact on many people’s lives and being of service to help raise the consciousness of our human collective through her beautiful music and uniqueness. Also, if this is your first time hearing about her, I recommend you check out her music, my favorite albums are ‘Made of Stars’ and ‘Waterfall of Wisdom’.

I really enjoyed arranging this instrumental piece but it’s a whole different experience to listen to the beautiful lyrics behind the melody. I’m happy to spread the word and share some love today with this arrangement, maybe I’ll do a singing cover of one of her pieces in the coming days, we’ll see!

Este es mi propio arreglo de la canción ‘I Am’ de la hermosa alma Fia, que ha sido una gran parte de mi recorrido, aún así sin siquiera habernos comunicado. Cuando escuché su música por primera vez, sentí algo que no puedo describir con palabras. Los sonidos, melodías y palabras resonaron tan profundamente que hasta el día de hoy desde la primera vez que la descubrí (principios de 2020) todavía la escucho casi todos los días!

Fia Viene a Dublín para dar un concierto (con entradas agotadas) el próximo jueves 16 y estoy muy emocionado de estar allí y ser parte de esta experiencia que estoy seguro será inolvidable. Quería ofrecer algo para mostrar mi gratitud y aprecio por Fia y lo que ha estado haciendo, creando un impacto tan positivo en la vida de muchas personas y sirviendo para ayudar a elevar la conciencia de nuestro colectivo humano a través de su hermosa música y autenticidad. Además, si es la primera vez que escuchas sobre ella, les recomiendo que escuchen su música, mis álbumes favoritos son ‘Made of Stars’ y ‘Waterfall of Wisdom’.

Disfruté mucho transportar esta pieza a la guitarra de manera instrumental pero es una experiencia completamente diferente escuchar la hermosa letra detrás de la melodía en la canción original. Paso por aquí para correr la voz y compartir mi sentir hoy con este arreglo, tal vez haga una versión cantada de una de sus piezas en los próximos días, ya veremos!
